Two people in a coaching conversation

The Invitation

You don't need to be fixed. You need to remember what whole feels like.

We live in a culture that asks us to disconnect from our bodies, ignore our intuition, and choose constant exertion over quiet clarity. Whether you're navigating a major career pivot, steering an organization through systemic friction, or holding the emotional landscape of a family, it's easy to lose sight of your own center.

You do not need to be fixed. You need to remember what it feels like to be whole, centered and grounded.

Our sessions are a dedicated sanctuary to step out of the daily noise and reconnect with your inner wisdom. Together, we move beyond conventional, top-down advice to explore somatic, creative and nature-based practices that help you unarmor, heal, and show up as the truest version of yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is leadership coaching?

Leadership coaching is an ongoing partnership that helps you grow into more grounded, effective and self-aware leadership — of a team, an organization, a family or your own life. Rather than handing you advice or a template, coaching helps you access your own clarity, wisdom and capacity, so the changes you make actually fit who you are. It's collaborative, present- and future-focused, and shaped around your real life rather than a generic playbook.

What is somatic coaching, and how is it different from 'regular' coaching?

Somatic coaching brings the body into the process, not just the mind. Traditional coaching tends to stay with insight, strategy and conversation. Somatic coaching adds practices like breathwork, grounding and nervous-system awareness, because many persistent patterns — overworking, shutting down in conflict, people-pleasing, doubting your own decisions — live in the body as much as in our thinking. Working somatically helps change become something you embody, especially under pressure, not just something you understand.

What do you mean by 'leaders'? Do I have to be an executive for this to be for me?

Not at all. I define leadership broadly and intentionally. I work with senior and executive leaders, bringing decades of experience in higher education, government, nonprofit and PK-12 leadership. I also work with emerging leaders, people leading in ways they haven't yet claimed or named, people conflicted about the word 'leader,' burnt-out leaders who've lost touch with why the work mattered, people leading themselves through hard personal transitions, and parents and caregivers navigating the daily leadership of family life.

How do I know if leadership coaching is right for me?

A good sign is a sense of 'that's me' when you read about burnout, disconnection, or wanting to lead (or live) with more alignment. You don't need your goals fully worked out before you start. Coaching often helps you find that clarity rather than requiring you to arrive with it. The best next step is usually a low-stakes conversation to see if it's a fit.

What does a coaching relationship with you look like?

We start with a free 15-minute Alignment Call to see if we're a good fit and talk through what you're navigating. If we move forward, you'll get an onboarding packet with a coaching agreement and an intake form to anchor our work, and then we begin regular sessions. Sessions draw on somatic awareness, creativity, play and mindfulness — tailored to you, not a fixed script.

How might identity or lived experience shape how we work together?

Our identities shape how we move through the world. I've done deep work to understand my own background and how my identities intersect with different contexts. Everyone's lived experience is unique, and I bring a justice-oriented lens, meeting you as a specific, whole person. The intake form invites you to share anything about your identities you'd like me to know, but you're never required to disclose anything. Share what feels relevant and important so we can co-create a relationship where you feel you belong.

What's the difference between coaching, therapy, consulting and mentorship?

Therapy focuses on healing and processing the past, sometimes including diagnosis. Mentorship offers advice from someone more senior, often with a pay-it-forward ethos. Consulting is a paid service that may include research, content, advice, step-by-step instructions and action plans. Coaching is a present- and future-focused partnership that uses intentional questions to help you reach your own insight. It isn't a substitute for therapy, and if therapy seems better for you, I'll say so honestly. I also offer consulting, separate from coaching; see my services page.

I'm dealing with real burnout. Is coaching still appropriate?

Coaching can be a meaningful part of addressing burnout rooted in disconnection. If you're in acute crisis, though, your wellbeing comes first, and we can talk about whether therapy or other support is better suited for you right now.

How much does coaching cost?

I work from a sliding-scale model to ensure access. Committed Containers include two 50-minute sessions per month: $1,500 for 3 months or $3,000 for 6 months. High-touch executive coaching has specialized pricing. See the details above on this page.
